Please allow extra time for street parking and to check in at the front office since the 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony will also be happening later that morning.
This year, the majority of the funds raised by FTME went to support literacy tutors who work with students to improve their reading skills. These are dedicated educators working one-on-one with students to help get every student reading at grade level by third grade. Literacy skills improve students’ performance across subjects; our tutors are critical to keeping students on track.
This program is at risk.
Costs have increased and our current fund is not enough to ensure the continuation of the program next year. We are $14,000 away from our $80,000 goal and we need your help to get there. Please donate to keep literacy tutors in our classrooms next year!
This past week, our school community lost a beloved teacher, Mr. Salyer, who was fatally struck while biking home from work. He made a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and families alike. 4:30-6:30pm – TME Playground – There will be music, there will be fun, and maybe even a popsicle or two! Come on over for the TME annual backyard reading party!
Bring a book, bring some food to share if you are able, but most importantly, bring yourselves and enjoy a little sunshine together before we head out for summer break!
Join us this Friday, 5/22, 6:30-8pm in the Cafeteria for a beach themed spring dance. Please dress appropriately as you would for school, i.e. t-shirt and swim trunks, not just a swim suit alone. Music by DJ Damitio and DJ McMolly. Enter thru Cafeteria doors.

The cost per 50-page yearbook is $18.00 plus sales tax. After you place your order, you will receive a receipt from support@yearbookmarket.com. Yearbooks will be distributed in class on the last day of school, June 17th.
Our tremendous staff is dedicated to supporting our students through thick and thin, let’s
join together to show how much we appreciate them. We will be celebrating the staff in a variety of ways including giving the staff room a deep clean (Fri, 5/1), Chalking up the sidewalks near school with messages of gratitude (Sun. 5/3), and offering breakfast and lunch on multiple days!
